Completing a Chicago project by a deadline is a priority to me as a freelance web designer. Having almost three years of experience has helped me develop my skills and allowed me to work in various businesses that allow me to help them with their projects from big to small. The last web design firm that employed me gave me the opportunity to work with all three. Some of the work included full websites in HTML and Flash, landing pages, email marketing design, direct mail marketing design and more. Other opportunities allowed me to work in print projects such as brochures, letterheads, envelopes, postcards, business cards and other marketing materials to promote events, products and/or services, that will not only receive positive feedback but will also receive the attention of consumers for the targeted event, product and/or service. I am bilingual and am able to help English and Spanish speaking clients.
I began my interest in Chicago freelance web design during high school and pursued it until my senior year later deciding that this was the career path for me and attended college. I graduated from the Academy of Design and Technology in March of 2006 and acquired my Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications and Multimedia this program was composed by offering classes in web, graphic and print design however, I also took classes in video editing and digital photography. Other skills were acquired after graduation such as email marketing design, direct mail marketing design and search engine optimization basics. I try to keep up to date with all the newly released software and its updates to take full advantage of what I love to do... design.
